Sage 200 Standard is a cloud-only, out-of-the-box ERP solution designed for businesses that need more advanced financials, stock control, and order processing than Sage 50. It provides a straightforward implementation but offers limited customisation and integration options.
Sage 200 Professional includes all the functionality of Standard but offers significantly greater flexibility. It can be deployed either in the cloud or on-premise and supports advanced customisation, integrations, and additional modules to meet more complex business requirements.
Professional also includes access to features such as:
CRM integration
Project Accounting
Business Intelligence (BI) and advanced reporting
Enhanced manufacturing and Bill of Materials (BOM) functionality
Full multi-currency processing
Batch and serial number traceability
Up to 20 accounting periods
Web Timesheets and Expenses
If your business requires bespoke workflows, advanced stock management, manufacturing capabilities, or integration with other systems, Sage 200 Professional is typically the preferred choice. For businesses seeking a standardised cloud ERP solution with lower complexity, Sage 200 Standard is often the ideal fit.
